Our Policies
Confidentiality & Code of Ethics
We follow the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy Code of Ethics with regard to confidentiality and good counselling practice. This means that we do not share information about you with any other organisation or persons without your explicit consent. However, should, in the course of counselling, serious concerns arise about you causing harm to yourself or others, we may consider it in your best interest to contact your GP for additional support. In those rare circumstances, Space will always respect your capacity for self-determination.
Equal Opportunities
Space promotes and believes in a policy of no discrimination on grounds of marital status, religion, culture, ethnicity, age, gender, HIV status, socio-economic status, political beliefs, immigration status or appearance.
